Birthday Wishes

Twenty-Four years ago, my daddy wished he would get a sweet baby boy for his birthday. He was lucky enough to get his wish (well I don't know about the sweet part but...) when Bradley was born on his birthday February 20th. My brother was of course named after my dad. I have been so blessed to have such wonderful men in my life.

There's a special place in my heart for my daddy. He is smart, funny, athletic, honest and caring. Dad was always such a great listener when I had a problem or even when I was in trouble :) Not only is he a good dad but a great Grandpa. Trey loves him.

Bradley is such a positive soul and a great example of loving people. He always finds the good in situations and even when you don't want to laugh he'll make you laugh. Malia will be the first to attest to that. :) Brad is good at everything he does and is so willing to help anyone who needs it. Brad and Malia's friendship has been such a blessing to Kyle and I and we feel so lucky to live so close to them.

Happy Birthday Dad and Brad, We love you!

Crystal, Kyle and Trey :)

Family Search Indexing

Our stake and ward have been actively trying to get everyone involved in Family Search Indexing. We have a goal of doing 1 million names before June. I had never heard of it before we moved to this ward and I have fallen in love. I have never been great at family history so this is a great and easy way for me to still be involved in this work. The spirit of Elijah is strong and so fulfilling. I try to do at least one batch while the baby is napping. For all of you out there who haven't heard of it go to http://www.familysearchindexing.org/home.jsf It's soooo easy to sign up, takes very little time and is a great way to serve every day. Every little bit helps. Could be a good family night activity too. :)

A New Talent

Our Friends Tyler and Danielle Andre are due to have a baby this week and for Dani's gift I wanted to give her a nursing cover. If any of you have noticed nursing covers are at least $30 dollars and my cousins make them for way cheaper so I wanted to try and make one for her instead of buying one. Now, I am not a seamstress at all. I've used a sewing machine twice in my life so I asked my mom to help me. I went up to her house last Friday and we made these. I decided to make one for me too. Mine is the top one and Dani's is the bottom. We went and picked out the fabric together. Oh and my cousin Brooke and Aunt Chele came and made one for Brooke too. She is due in late March. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I got to learn a new talent. I got the instructions online. Here is the website if anyone is interested. www.breastfeeding123.com/free-pattern-to-sew-your-own-nursing-cover/

Growing Up

Trey is learning so many new things now! He just started dancing this week and it is soo cute. He does this little booty shake hula hoop move :) Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to turn the video around so you'll have to watch it sideways.

The next two videos are from my phone so please excuse the poor quality as well as my funny voices. :)The video's are only like 30 seconds. The first video is us playing 5 little monkeys. He loves this game!

This morning while eating our breakfast Trey started squinting or closing his eyes at me. We say prayers every morning and night together and he sees that we close our eyes. I didn't know he even understood or could do this but apparently they are smarter than we think. We love him!
