The Sherman's March Madness

This is Trey's first experience eating Spaghetti. He actually didn't eat very much. It was too much fun to play with. :) But what he did eat, he seemed to like.

Kyle got a puzzle of Philadelphia (where he served) from my mom for Christmas. It was a lot of fun to put together. Especially because Kyle knew what everything was and would tell me about it as we made it. We put it together on a Sat. and Sunday. We've decided that we really like puzzles but that we become consumed with them very quickly. (They're addicting) Trey, does not like puzzles! He was so mad at us for not playing with him. Thank goodness Grandma Jan, Grandpa Brad, and Kallie came that Saturday to play with us.

Trey loves to play in the kitchen with bowls, spatulas, pans etc, while I cook. The other day, I turned around and found Trey with the Tomato soup held up to his mouth trying to drink the last drops from the can. He had pulled the can out of the trash. It was pretty funny. (Luckily, there were no sharp edges on the can) He was covered in Tomato soup. Kyle and I got a good laugh. Sorry the picture is blurry. :(

Kyle and I have been involved in 3 different intramural sports this semester. We played on a Co-ed soccer team together. I was super nervous since I haven't played on a team since I was 10, but it turned out to be fine (besides the pulling of the quad).
I played Walleyball, which is the picture above. It's really posed sorry, it was hard to get anything clear in action. My team actually won the Division 1 championships yesterday. So we won the coveted BYU Intramural Champions shirt. That was exciting.
Lastly, Kyle is playing on a basketball team. They are in tournament right now and have gone undefeated for the season. Kyle loves basketball! Not a day goes by that we don't talk about, watch or play basketball. :)

This is how Trey helps me with the Laundry. He loves to play in the big pile of unfolded clothes. He also loves to attack my piles of FOLDED clothes. He's such a big helper! :)

Feeling Crafty?? cont'd...

SO my sister-in-law Sarah had this great idea to encourage craftiness. So I am participating too. Recently, I've learned to make a few crafts and would really like to learn to make more. So, the first 5 people who comment on this post will get a handmade craft from me sometime this year. Make sure that I at least have your email so that I can get your address :) It would be awesome if those who comment would like to join in on the fun and do a "pay it forward" type thing. I'm so excited to send you your gifts. Just don't expect too much :) I'm no Martha Stewart.

Friday the 13th

So last Friday was "Friday the 13th", for the second month in a row. I am not a superstitious person but at the end of the day my mother reminded me that it was Friday the 13th. So we are going to blame the events of the day on bad luck.

Kyle and I had a soccer game at 6pm. I pulled my left quadriceps while running. Ouch!!!! It's actually feeling so much better now.

Kyle had a basketball game at 7pm. He was intentionally fouled, thrown against the wall so hard it knocked him to the ground. His elbow is disgustingly bruised and he walked with a limp for 3 days because the back of his knee and calf got kicked really hard.

Bradley (my brother) had a basketball game at 8pm. He was pulled to the ground by a guy on the other team (no foul called mind you) and tore his ACL. :( Brad is due to have surgery this Friday. He definitely got the worst of it!

Needless to say, the three of us limping out of Bradley's basketball game was quite a sight to see.

I was interested to see what the origin of Friday the 13th was and looked it up on Wikipedia. It was an interesting read. Here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_the_13th

Favorite Shows

What are your favorite shows to watch? We'd love to know!

Last September, Kyle and I started watching The Biggest Loser and we were instantly hooked. This is our favorite show to watch together. For some reason this show really gets our emotions goin' and I think I've cried almost every episode. Don't ask me why? They aren't sad tears but happy one's because someone did something nice or got to see their family. Like this last week when Mike gave Aubrey his year supply of groceries because she had 5 kids and needed them more than he did. They were even on separate teams but he felt like it was the right thing to do. How sweet! I got a little teary eyed. Kyle and I always laugh when I cry cuz' it's so funny that we are so emotionally connected to this show. :) We are so glad that we have a DVR that can record it because we don't usually get to watch it at the right time.

If you're interested Biggest Loser is on NBC on Tuesday's at 7pm. Can't wait for next week, it was a To BE Continued episode and we're Dying!!!!

We also like to watch 24 and American Idol. Kyle's more into 24, it's a little too violent for me. :) I'm a softy as you can see from the above comments. :)
