Co-ed Softball

Every year when Summer term comes around I look forward to playing co-ed intramural softball. It's a blast! We have our second game on Saturday. I'm so glad that my doctor is supportive of me playing sports this time around. I really, really missed it with Trey and feel more like myself this pregnancy :) I think it's also keeping my hormones in check thus making me happier. (Kyle appreciates that) Kyle and I just got done playing co-ed soccer and that was super fun too. My only issue with playing is that I pay for it the next day. My ligaments that hold up my uterus get really sore from all that bouncing when I run :) (That's sounds so funny, but that's what's sore so, there ya go) If anyone wants to come out and cheer for our team let us know, we'd love the extra noise. The season goes till the beginning of August.
P.S. Don't worry I will not be sliding head first on my belly like this guy!

Pictures as promised

Trey got to spend the last friday and saturday with Grandma Jan, Grandpa Brad, and Kallie. Kyle and I went on a day date and saw Cirque du Sole. It was so fun. Trey had a blast at Grandma's too. He played in shaving cream.

While we were in California we got to go to Disneyland to celebrate Trey's 2nd Bday. It was a blast. We went with Kyle's whole family. Trey loved Talking with Crush (from finding Nemo) and his favorite was Playhouse Disney show. He danced and laughed the whole time.

Trey turned two during the month of May. He loved his birthday party and some of his most favorite people were there. Trey is usually terrified of the swings. Malia got him to swing with her for a while and she is a miracle worker because he'll go on a swing now all by himself. Maybe Chef Malia can teach him to not be such a picky eater :)

These pics are backwards in order but here he is eating his birthday cupcake :) He loved it. He actually had two.

Blowing out his candle.

On warm days trey loves to go outside and color with chalk.

Coming Soon....Pictures

Holy Cow it's been forever since I've blogged. I am actually at my parents house using their internet because we haven't had internet for a week. We went to California (pictures coming) to surprise Lynda, kyle's mom, for Mother's Day. We spent 5 days there. It was lots of fun. We went to Disneyland the second day we were there. Trey loved it! We also found out the gender of our baby while we were in California. What for it.... ITS A GIRL!!! We are so excited to have one of each. I had my "20 week" ultrasound last wednesday and they said that she is healthy and looks great. Due date looks right on for October 12th. As soon as we get internet I will upload all of my pictures and post more. Sorry I've been so horrible. Thanks to those of you who check consistently even though I've been so bad lately. We appreciate all of your friendships!!

Updates!!

It's been forever since I posted but I have some good excuses. Since my last post we moved apartments, which we love. That took a little while to pack and unpack. Also, since we've moved our internet doesn't work very well so I never get to get on because if it is working Kyle has to use it for school. (where are his priorities? :) ) My parents took Trey to the Zoo last week and he has a blast. Our camera needs charged so I will have to post pictures later but he loved the monkeys and says everyday "Silly monkeys swing from rope" It's so cute :) He also saw a cougar and in true cougar fashion started shouting the cougar fight song right in front of the cage. It was hilarious especially because we were right next to the U of U. Trey's speech and vocabulary has really blossomed in the past few weeks. It's so fun to here his little personality come out even more. He is surprisingly well mannered. :)

And the biggest reason why I haven't posted is because we are pregnant with baby number 2 and I have been sick. Not as sick as I was with Trey but still throwing up several times a day :( With Trey I stopped getting sick at 14 weeks and I am 13 right now so hopefully the nausea will go away very soon. My in-laws are also in town for the week so we have had fun seeing them. Trey is so lucky to have two sets of grandparents that he loves! We are so excited about adding another child into our family. Neither of us have any feelings about whether this one is a boy or a girl so we will have to see. Although, both sets of our parents think that it's a boy. Maybe for us it's grandmothers intuition and not mothers.

February 20th

So February 20th is a special day in the Call family. My dad, Brad, was born on February 20th, my brother Bradley was born on February 20th and 2 days ago our little neice, Ben's daughter, Reese was born on February 20th. We have three birthday's on that day :). We are so happy for Ben and Kristen and can't wait to meet little Reese. I told Ben that it must be fate to change Reeses name to Bradita since she was born on February 20th. He said he would run it by Kristen and she what she thought :) Happy Birthday to all!!

I feel so accomplished!

I was feeling ambitious last week so I decided to arrange a Primary song into a four-part women's barbershop piece. Some of you may know that I competed in a Barbershop quartet in High school. It was so much fun and I really grew to love that style of music and a capella singing. Since I got married I haven't been able to do much singing and would really like to find some kind of group that does Barbershop. Anyway, I took the primary song Beautiful Savior and made up my own arrangement. I have never done anything like this before but it was soooo much fun. I could only do it while Trey napped but I just finished it yesterday and am so excited. I used the Finale software to help me write it and it sounds awesome when it plays it back to me. I can't wait to hear it with real voices. Hope it sounds good!! I have already found 2 other girls to sing Tenor and Lead so now I just need a baritone, (I sing Bass). You know that wonderful feeling of accomplishment when you have created something new? I love it and it inspires me to do more.

Cinnamon Rolls

So, this post is a little late, but two weeks ago I made cinnamon rolls for the first time and they turned out great. They looked good and tasted good which I was very thrilled about because I was baking them for the bunko group I was hosting that night. The recipe I have is awesome and I swear is fool proof :) Let me know if any of you want it and I'd be happy to give it to you.
